Successful stamping at Mumbai Consulate

Dear All,

I would like to thank each one of you for posting your experiences and information given.

here how my visa interview took place.

VO:Good afternoon
me:Good afternoon sir

VO:So u r working for YYYY company (looking into my DS-156)
me:yes sir

VO:so u r going from YYYY company
me:no sir YYYY company

VO:Can i see u`r offer letter
megiven him)

VO:this is old one do u have any new offer?
me:yes sir..(given him)

VO:why do u want to go to US
me:better oppurtunity.....

VO:how did u get this offer?
me:thru dice .....

VO:have u been to US (seeing my passport, it had a Schengen visa)
me:no sir, i had been to France

VO:What did u do there
me:i was working with AAA company went there for planning and designing.

VO:what did u study?
me: B.E in ECE

VO:where
me:University of madras

VO:hat were u doing since then
me:worked for company AAA for 4 years then BBB for 14 months CCC for 10 months and YYYY for the past 10 months

VO:Can i see u`r Educational certificates
mehanded over to him)

VO:Can i see ur experience certificates
mehanded over to him)

VO:OK u`r visa is approved and u `ll be receiving u`r passport soon.
me:i thanked him and came...(he returned all the docs to me)


some points:

1.People who r going for visa at mumbai consulate sould submit their docs minimum 5 working days before their interview date.
2.its better to pay Rs 200 for the VFS for thier rest rooms and transportation.(in my case there was a big rush and we need to stand in the sun this can be avoided).
3.Its a personal interview ...only thing is we need to be confidant on what we r saying.
4.i didn`t have the w2(tax) forms or service agreements between my employer and the client ..
