H1B Extension (Premium Processing) - Anyone is facing the same situation?

Hi,

My lawyer sent my H1B Ext (Premium Processing) papers to INS on 10th March 2007. Till now, my lawyer did not receive any Receipt Number (I mean to say WAC number) from the INS?

Is anyone facing the same problem? Please let me know.

I think your lawyer or your boss can call them and ask - you can't.

I just had H1B extension approved. At some point they needed additional evidence. I knew about that from the web site: it was saying that they mailed precise info about additional evidence they required. 3 weeks later my lawyer called them, they promised to mail it again. Another 3 weeks and we found out they didn't even pull my papers out when they were saying about re-mailing additional evidence. Eventually when my lawyer spoke with some supervisor there they faxed us that information.
That was in Laguna Niguel, CA.
Don't wait - ask your lawyer or boss and call them (800-375-5283).
