  • Expected receipt date for non-US degree of H1B

    Hi All,

My employer has filed my H1B petition under the premium processing for the non-US earned degree on April 2. According to USCIS, the 15-day premium processing should start on April 12 and thus should end on April 27 (today). Yet, I haven't heard back from employer about the status of my petition.

I'm getting a little anxious about that, so I was wondering how many cases out there have similar situation.

For those who filed their petition under the premium processing, have you got a receipt number yet? or have you been informed that your petition is not selected for random processing?

    Thanks for your time.

    me too

I am in the same situation. My check for the premium processing hasn't been cashed yet, which I believe means that I wasn't lucky enough to be selected. My attorney hasn't heart anything back, nor received any notice by now.

You can still hang on to more hope! Based on the USCIS premium processing webpage:
Premium Processing Service provides faster processing of certain employment-based petitions and applications. Specifically, USCIS provides 15 calendar day processing to those who choose to use this service or USCIS will refund the Premium Processing fee and the relating case will continue to receive faster processing.
