Harrassement by employer

Hi All,

I want to share the story of my harrassement with my employer. I have been working with top notch MNCs in India for last 5 years. Last year I applied for H1B with one of the Desi consultant. They charged me 2000USD for the same.
In the mean time I got the offer from my current company to go to US on L1 but I denied as I had already applied for H1 and was expecting the smooth processing.
Unfortunately during VISA intw I got 221g asking for the project and client details which my employer had not provided. They asked me to come back with the proper documents. I approached my employer asking for the same. Now its more than 6 months, inspite of my repeated attempts my employer is not providing with the required documents. My all plans have been shattered my career has been in a tizzy. I am hanging in between with no clear cut path to go.
I am seeking help from all the reader to suggest if I can take any action against this employer or atleast to get back my hard earned money back.

Most desi consultuing companies in the US do the same. I would suggest forget about the whole story and join a top notch MNC again.
