I am currently working in USA with work authorization (I-785). My greencard application (I-485) is still in progress, but my company applied H1B visa for me, and it is approved. Can I keep both status? my H1B visa is valid from October but my work permit will be expired on August. Can I extend my work permit based on my I-485 application process? Does this affect any situation?
