  • H1B 2008 approved

    Hi,
I have all the reasons to smile! I got the receipt dated April 18. And today I got the H1B approved.

But I have a hurdle to overcome. My J1 expires on July 15. Looking for a way out to stay legally between the period from July 16 through Oct.1,2007.

Any suggestion guys? I would, for sure appreciate any suggestions.
Happy 'Visa-ing' to all the guys!

---- Apply for a B1/B2 Visa and continue your stay in US --- legally

---- You may want to consult an attorney to clarify these matters and then proceed

      Hi,

Can you please tell me at which processing center your application was filed? I have a receipt dated April 18 too and the USCIS website link for processing times still shows Mar 15 as the current processing date.

I need to travel to India and want to know if I have a good chance of getting the approval notice before I go.

      Your response will be appreciated.

        Courage!

I think it is Vermont. But then, some times the website does not refresh every day.

I would suggest that you ask the attorney or the consultants regarding the updates.

        All the best.
