I am on a F1 visa. and I am in the process of getting a research job (neurology) in a university. I have heard that all the H1B quota for this year have been exhausted on the first day.
But I also heard that some university jobs dont fall under that H1 cap. Is it true? Even though OPT is a good option, unfortunately it may not work for me.
So..if the H1B processing can still be done for the above job..how much time and money does it take for nomal processing and the premium processing.
Thank you.
