Clearance for H1B visa

Hi,

I was granted a security clearance in 2004 for a J1 visa which took 8 weeks to process! I converted this to H1B while here in the USA and was planning to travel back home (India) early next year. Will I have to go through the same process again? If so, will it be faster since I have done it earlier? Also, is it a good idea to ge it stamped in Canada? I am a citizen of India but was born in Iran. Any information will be really appreciated.

---- There is no way one can predict the process and hope you will be at the better end of it

Also, is it a good idea to ge it stamped in Canada? I am a citizen of India but was born in Iran. Any information will be really appreciated.

---- Better be on the safer side and go for a Visa interview in India
