Gentlemen/Ladies,
I have a question regd filling of form DS-156. There is a section in this form which asks whether my VISA was cancelled or rejected any time.
I initially had an F1 visa which I did not use and did not come to US that year. In the next year I again applied for F1 and this is the one I used to come to the US.
The first VISA stamp on my passport now reads "CANCELLED WITHOUT PREJUDICE". The second F1 visa which I used to come to School 2 is intact. I am now on H1B and will be going for stamping in Mexico.
Would I need to answer YES to the question in DS-156 or should I say NO. I have read in other places that if you answer YES to the question, your chances of VISA getting rejected is VERY HIGH!
Responses/comments appreciated.
