My visa experiences so far

Just want to share my visa experiences at Chennai Consulate over the past couple of years, if anyone is interested in them.
First time I interviewed for a B1 visitor visa in Jan 03 and got rejected. At that time I was newly employed in India and the Consulate was not convinced that I was genuinely taking leave and coming to the US for a visit.
After that I had some international travel from my company to the Schengen countries in 2003 and to Singpore in 2004.
Second time I applied for the B1 visitor visa in April 2005 and got the visa and came for a month's visit to the US. It was a normal experience, normal questions asked and visa was granted.
Third time I applied for the H4 visa in Jul 2006 after my marriage in June 2006. It was also a normal experience and visa was granted.
Now my H1 petition is under process - I am planning to travel to India and come and things look complicated. I dont mind waiting for the H1 approval and attending interview at Chennai but I cannot stay there till Oct 1 if I go now. Anyway, I've posted some queries w.r.t that and I'll decide after seeing the responses and talking to my attorney.
Good luck to all aspirants under various categories. At least based on mine and my family's experience, I feel it pays to be honest and genuine - thats how I've got lucky this far.
