H1B vs L1 BLANKET

Hi All,

I came to USA last april 2006 and stayed till november 2006 ( totally 6 months). One of my consulatant filed my h1b for 2008 quota where in i can legally work in usa from 1-oct-2007.

Since I already worked in usa for 6 months last year will my quota of h1b visa reduces from 3 yrs to 2.6 years ( 3 yrs - 6 months ).

Is there any option like if i stay till november 2007 this year they will not reduce my 6 months.

Could any one please advice on this.

---- NO, The 3 year period is counted from the day you have been granted and approved for the H1B status irrespective of all other Visas held by you and your stay in the US

Is there any option like if i stay till november 2007 this year they will not reduce my 6 months.
