Visa Interview start date.!!

hi all,

my current petition status is
Current Status: Approval notice sent.

what is the start date for interview.
i am in bangalore, can i attend the interview at any consulate in india, or should i attend at the office, where my consultant is situated, he is at mumbai.

please suggest.

You will need to attend the visa interview in Chennai. The start date on your H1 would be Oct 1, 2007. So you can fly to the US only after that. Since there are a lot of rejections during the visa interview process, I would recommend not quitting your job until you have the visa stamp on your passport.

When was your application recieved date and approval date. This is just to compare with recived date of mine.

If your Visa was not rejected till now, you can go to any consulate in India.
