Help-For F1 (without completing MS) to H1

I entered US last year december, I applied for H-1 , Got approved in 2007 General Cap, I'm eligible to work from oct 07, Should I continue the masters until Oct as September 1st week my college is going to start. can I be Out of status for this time?
