Marriage in USA.

Hi,

Both me & my husband are H1-B Visa holders. We got married in US & have a proper Marriage License/Certificate.

Is this marriage valid in India? Is the Marriage certificate issued here a valid document in India. If not, what is required from me to endorse this & make it legal in India?

Pls Help.
