  • H1 transfer : no latest payslip

    Hi Seniors,
Please guide me through this problem. After talking to my employer I got a feeling that I may not be given my next paystub due on the Jul 15th which is yet another unprofesional act of this employer.

Iam convinced that I must look for a better employer but I have latest paystubs of May and Jun. In case I do not get my paystub for Jul and I file for transfer say after Jul 15 is it going to get through?

    Please advise,
    Rohit

Employers are required to provide the paystubs for the duration you worked for them. It is illegal for them for not do so.

File a complaint with Dept. of Labor.

Thanks for the response. Filing the complain will certainly be the best way to deal with these kind of people. I wanted to knw wht other options I have. Specifically, If I go ahead with my last 2 month payslips (i.e May and Jun) is there a chance that the transfer will get through.

      Please advise.

PS: To file complain to DOL do I need to email them or go to their office in person.

        write / fax

write to dol with full details of your employer and/or fax them
also, you can fax to your state senator's office and your representative
