Want to leave the company while h1b expires on Sep 07

Hi Gurus,

As my employer is not able to place me due to billing rate , i would like yo leave the company . The issue is my H1b expires on Sep 07.

My company is not yet applied for extension.

How many days before we have to apply for H1b extn?

Is it safe to switch over another company and doing tranfer and extension?
Or

can i ask my current company to do extn and mean time i apply for transfer?

But incase my current employee will come to know abt my transfer before my h1b extension , will they create any probelm?

Please help me on this

Ask your employer to generate 2 paystubs. If they ask why, tell them you need it to get a bank loan and you need the paystubs for that. If you have already found the company you want to join, send them your papers along with 2 latest paystubs so they can start the H1 transfer process. Once you receive the I-797C from the new company, notify your old company that you will be leaving them.
