H1b no job Please help!

Hello All,

I am on h1b since dec'06 and have not been working since then. My husband's employer is filing for I-485 and I am worried I am not in status and I donot want to jeopardize with our greencard.
Please help me in deciding what to do in my situation.
Can I go to Canada for stamping and get back to H4? WIll I b able to do that without any problems? Please help me!

Hi Srilaxbaby, let go of your H1. Get a H4. Add your name to your hubby's AOS application. Then, in the meanwhile when its pending, you can get back on H1 and you will not be counted against the cap as you were already counted once in last 6 yrs.
