Entering USA thro H1b

I am a sw engineer with 8-10 years of experinece currently in Europe , and looking forward to move to USA in near future ( in a year or two ).

can anyone suggest genuine reliable H1B sponsor / consulting companies
to start off with -

Is it true that we have to enter with the help of such companies or
do big s/w companies also do the sponsoring

any suggestion will be of great help !!!

also can anyone list down websites for common indian forums --anything w.r.t
india info in USA

I do not recommend dice.com. It is just full of indian-consultants. Kindly see the different cases mentioned in "employer/employee" forums. You will get a glance of how indian-consultants have treated people and treat people. For your experience you should be able to get good jobs from US companies.
