Hi ALL,

I have a typical problem...My H1B papers were approved in 2006 quota. But due to personal problems i could not attend. So my question is...

1. Right from the approval date. What is the Maximum time I can stay at my home country before going for H1B interview in US consulate??


2. My sponsored company in USA lost the original approval letter, but they have True copy of it so can i attend in India with true copy approval letter? if not what is the alternative??

3. Since my papers were last year quota, if I attend this year in India. WILL it be any problem in consulate?

What is the meaning of lost? how did he loose the original approval.

Any way i dont want to come into that matter. U still can attend visa. There will be no problem. If the consular people ask u why u have been late u give a proper reply. But dont make it too late.

I dont know whether u can attend with a true copy or not.

But i think with out original approval u can not attend for the visa.
