convert H4 to H1, for a Pharmacy-background.

Hi Frns,

I have applied for H1 and has been selected in the random selection.

My husband is of Pharmacuitical background. So, if we get the H1 visa, my husband will be coming to USA on H4. After coming he wants to convert his H4 to H1. But, before converting to H1 he may have to clear an exam, to be eligible as pharmacist.

The problem is, we dont know any consultancies who process H1 for the Pharmaceutical background. He has the experience of 2 1/2 years, in research and development (Generics).

Please give me any kind of information regarding (if any one of you know):
1. Eligibility for writing the exam
2. Conversion of H4 to H1
3. Consultancies processing these cases.

while he is in usa on H4 he can appear for qualifying exams.Once clear he can apply at local pharmacies and search for a job. The chances are that he will have to wait till Apr 2008 to file and Oct 2008 to workk.

I dont know about any consultancies that to pharma H1s but I would stop at several local pharmacies and chat with the pharmacists.
