I am a newbie here..please help me in this.
I have got my H1 extension from July 2007 till 2010 July. I have received I-797 & copy of I-129 from my employer.
But I noticed that my education credentials were wrong in I-129 (it was correct in old I-129 form of old visa term). Hence my employer has filed for amending I-129 via premium processing on July 27 2007.
I have a travel planned to India on Aug10th 2007 & for re-entry to US, I will need to attend Visa restamping at US consulate Chennai India.
Please guide whether I will get Amended I-129 by Aug 10th(premium filed on July 27th) & also if I dont get amendment by Aug 10th , Can I travel to India (assuming my employer can mail amended petition to my mailing address in India) ?
