I am staying in bangalore and hence come in the zone of chennai consulate.
The VFS site says that i should book appointment in my own zone. the website says this - "You must ensure that you have documentary evidence to prove the ‘State of Residence’ that you have selected to schedule the appointment. If it appears during the visa interview that you misrepresented your ‘State of Residence’, such facts will be noted on your case file and may adversely influence the outcome of your visa application. "
My employer had filed my petition with Kolkata as the consulate and got the approval with the same consulate mentioned. they are also asking me to go to kolkata consulate for visa interview. what should i do...
