I need some advice from immigration gurus. Me and my wife has applied for 485 on July 2nd, 2007. My wife is going to India and appearing for H4 renewal on Aug 13th. Her H4 status is valid until 2009 but H4 stamping in the passport expires on Aug 17. If for some reason, her H4 renewal (stamping) gets denied, can she leave for US immediately and try entering on or before Aug 17th, 2007? Or will they cancel the current stamping as well, if renewal is denied?
One last question. Is I-134 form needed (affdavit of support) for H4 renewal?
