Visa interview question regarding GC appln

Hey guys!

Did any one go for visa renewal (H4 in this case) after they have applied for 140 or 485. My question is when we tell (written in the application as well) that we have applied for GC, is that considered a risk (potential immigrant or anything like that?) If so, how can we justify? I will appreciate your input.

H and L visas are dual intent. Therefore, no problem unlike visitor, student visa.
