L1 to H1

Hi,

I have been working here L1 visa since Sep 2004. I have applied to H1 this year and also got approval. So I have 2 visas now. But I want to continue on L1 visa till end of 2008. Can I continue like that or I have to shift into H1 visa from 1st Oct 2007? Can anybody reply me, if have any idea reg my question?

---- Yes, you can continue to live on both the Visas, provided both are valid and unexpired. However, your employers have to keep the Visa and the job vacant for you at all times, since you may jump over anytime based on your circumstances and whom you find advantageous
