Visa Papers/Documents
Hi all,
I am working on my old visa (comp A) as it was valid but changed company (comp B) as A filed for bankruptcy. I travelled internationally (on emergency) and at the port of exit I detached the bottom portion of my 797 and stapled it to the I-94 and left. I entered but the Immigration Officer did not update the info on my new I-94 even though I have a valid 797 and currently my I-94 expires in Feb.
Question?
1. what would be the date on file as I have submitted the latest approval notice while exiting?
2. Is there something additional I need to do before going for Visa?
2. If I go for visa, then do I still take the I-797 thats detached at the bottom half?
