H1b stamping

Hi,
I Work for company A in India.For company A my L1-B visa is processed and stamping is done.
I never have a visit to USA for company A although my L1-B visa is ready.
Now for this year company B in USA has processed my H1-B and notice for the same has come.
Do i need need to go to Mumbai location for stamping again.
Please clarify.

yes if the stamp you have is L1b then you need to get H1 stamped to work on H1

1.I need to go for stamping to Mumbai office Again.
2.When my H1 is stamped L1 gets cancelled

yes you need to go to the consulate again to get H1 stamped.

L1 may not be cancelled if H1 is stamped.

The questions you may be asked in the interview are with regard to:

your details in your resume

details about your employer

your work details previous and present in India

Your work details of US.

Your intention to go to US.

Your experience at work.

Details of US employer / sponser

Your role in US company.

your role in Indian company

your salary details

whether you have intention to abandon India ---the answer should be no even if you have plans to settle in US.

etc..
