What does this option on 221(g) mean??

Hi,

Last week I attended my H1 interview. After my interview the consular officer handed me a blue slip with the below option.

This petition is being returned to USCIS for further review.
Upon completion of the review, USCIS will contact your petitioner.
Please wait for a notification from the consulate before returning.

Can anyone please explain what does this mean? I was also given a case number which is missing in the admin processing list of cases (pdf downloaded from chennai consulate website). Any clues??
