Hello everyone,
I am writing this note to see if someone can help me with my situation. My wife is here on H4 visa with me and before we got married she had also applied for her H1 with one of the employers. Now we are looking forward to get her status tansfered from H4 to H1.
When I discussed this with her employer they said this can be done by submitting an application but then it will take 5-6 months or the other options would be to go to Canada or India and get the stamping. I am sure which one to go with. I am OK going to Canada because it is close to where I stay but then is it going to be favourable? What all information do I need before I go for it and is there some website which I can look to get this done?
Will it be a easy and risk free process going to Canada and getting this done? I will appriciate any information on this.
