Hi,
I have been denied visa for October 2006. My OPT was going to expire in April this year. So I took admission in a University.
I completed my first semester and I got my H1 visa approved for October 2007. I don't want to continue my next semester now till October.
Since my I20 is valid till 2009 I want to go inactive status for this coming semester starting on August 9 so that I can be active with H1 from october onwards.
But I am afraid that I wont be having a full time student status if I am not registered for credits. People say it is going to affect me when I go for visa stamping.
I don't know what to do.
My deadline for registering is fast approaching.
Could you please guide me on this. This is kind of urgent situation for me.
