I had a job offer way back in 2000 and even got my H1B stamped from the employer. However things turned out differently and I didn't join this employer but joined another employer on L1 Visa. At the time of L1 stamping, my previous H1 stamping was cancelled. Since then I have travelled back to India and my L1 has also expired. I have travelled yet again for a new employer in B1 once.
However now I wish to go back to work in US and looking for an H1 sponsor.
My question is whether my earlier H1 stamping would be of any use or whether I have to go through the yearly H1B quota?
