Travelling while on Extension & coming back (H4)

My family is on H4 extension. Can they travel to India and comeback without me accomapanying them. My doubt is in particular that do they require stamping? If stamping is required , then my Visa is not in stamped status (since I am on H1 Extension, and do not have my Visa stamped).

has your extension been approved. Is the stamp expired in their passports. Then can come back only if the stamp in their passport is current.
If you have h1 approval then that will be sufficient for them to get H4 stamped. Alternatively if their H4 ext has been approved that will be needed.

Thanks for the response!Our Visa's has expired but we have got our extensions Approved. So it means that they can come back, but will require stamping to be done by showing my / their Approval Notices.
