L1 to H1..Please Help

Hi,

I have L1 visa and I am in US now working for comp A. Recently I got my H1 papers.
My L1 is valid till 2008. I am planning to go to Canada for H1 stamping.
My question is if any case my H1 visa rejected, can I still come back and continue my job on L1 in comp A?
Please suggest me. Thank you.

Yes, unless the consular officer revokes your L1 too on the passport.
