Need H4

Hello All
I got my H1 last week, and now i need to get H4 for my wife. As per the earlier plan i was suppose to land in US in Nov but my employer told, as this is a holiday mood in US during Nov and Dec and all the projects related will be put on hold and it would be very hard to get a project response.
As per the new plan i will be landing in US some time in Jan. Now my question is Can i apply for H4 when i am here in India. for a H4 Interview i need 3 months pay slip which i dont have as i am here in India. Please can you tell me is it safe to apply after getting my 3 months pay slip or can i go ahead and apply for H4 staying in India..

well it would have been so much easier if you had gone together to get the visa.

VO's are not fools and will not expect you to provide pay slips though you have not started work yet. I guess someone needs to mention if applicable to the list of docs on the site why not write to the admin to clarify this issue on guidelines page.

your employer will need to provide basically all the documents they provided for you along with your relationship docs: marriage certificate etc.

the employer letter will mention something like this is to support ypur wife's H4 visa.
