hello,
I have a few questions concerning a future employment : I am currently
under a J1 visa as a georgia Institute of Technology Master student.I am a french engineer and I am currenly using my OPT to do an internsip that ends on april 16th 2007. I am currently looking for a job in the US. Assuming that I get a job offer, BUT that the the quota for H1B is exhausted when my application begins to be processed, is there any other way i can work for this employer?
Can I be sponsored as an intern while waiting for the new H1b session?
Can the employer sponsor me or do I have to use the services of the french consulate or government offices?
In the case my employer or me can sponsor a temporary internship visa, what coud be this visa, and are there some restrictions on it ? (hours of work, wage....)
