after h1 approval from uscis after how much time employee can aproch embassy

this is vishal here i hav been rejected twice on f1 visa in chennai embassy, on dec 2005 and jan 2006, after that i hav applied for h1 visa and i got an approval in sep2006, but till today i didnt went embassy , and mean while i hav done processing for business visa as a software professional on business categorie, and i am about to apear embassy in this month, can any one help me in this regard i will be greatful for the advise,

And tilll today i dint went embassy after f1 refusal, and it is one year i got h1 approval, can any one tell me that after the approval from USCIS wat is the duration one can go to embassy on h1.

My I129 is valid from : 10/1/2006 - 9/30/2009. can any one go after one year of approval to the embassy for stamping and in which quota they will consider, please help in this regard

---- You can go next day to the US Consulate if you have an appointment scheduled for teh Visa you are seeking. It is normally when the next appointment is available for you at the US Consulate in the jusrisdiction of your residential status

---- What do you mean by I-129 being valid? For a H1 Visa the I-797 (H1 approval notice) should be valid.

---- What are you referring to as quota? You have to appear for an interview with the H1 approval notice (i-797)

The H1 quota you are talking about kicks in upon approva, you have been counted against 2006 quota and will be cap exempt for 6 years frm that date.
