where can i get my H1B stamped

Hi,
I am holding a valid US H1B visa petition. I applied for this H1B from India. But currently due to a assignment I am in Sweden. Can I go to US emabssy in Sweden and get the Visa stamped? will there be any side affects? what are the consequences for the same if any?

Pls let me know so that necessary actions can be taken.

For various reasons, your first choice for visa stamping should be your home country.

check on ur i797 approvel they will mention the country where ur suppose to appear..........best of luck

There will not be a problem.
I have seen some of my friends successfully got it stamped in Sweden.
If you have 6 months of stay in that location then you can book your appointment for stamping.
