Pls clarify: name changed in passport. should visa be updated

Hi

My wife is a H1B visa holder residing in the US. Recently she updated her maiden name and got a new passport from the Indian embassy in US. Her old passsport is in a cancelled status but holds her valid H1B visa.

She is travelling to India and coming back after few weeks. Should her H1B Visa be updated with the new name from the US consulate in India.

Please help in providing this clarification.
