H1 Stamping already there from previous year.Going for new H1 stamping for this year.

Hi,

I am already having H1 stamped in India from my previous year petition.

Now this year i am going another stamping from my new company in India itself.

My new company is not having the policy of H1 transfer in India.

Is there any problem with this.

you dont need a new stamp if the previous one is current, just the new approval to travel to USA.

My previous stamping is not from the company i am currently planning to travel.

Also, my previous stamping from previous company is from last yr.

This new stamping from my present company is for this current yr.

if the stamp is still valid it does not matter when and what company it is for. It only matters if the stamp has expired or not.

You can travel on prev year's prev companies H1 stamp as long as it is valid(unexpired) using the new I-797 H1 approval for new company.
