H1B visa issued and H1B cancelled without prejudice (Issued 221G for RE-INTERVIEW)

HI All,

I have attended the H1B interview @ Mumbai consulate on 5 th oct.

VO: good morning
Me: good morning madam

VO: how r u ?
ME: fine n how abt u?

Given the pink token

VO: have u visited US ?
ME: Yes i have visited on B1visa.

VO: have u worked on L1 in US?
ME: no

VO: why?
ME: given the reason

VO: is there any relation with current company and US Company?
ME: no

VO : Is there any common clients for current company and new company?
ME : No

VO: how many employees in NEW company?
ME: given answer.

VO: How much salary offering from ur new company?
ME: YYYY X

VO: How u know abt this company?
ME: YYYY

VO: Thank you sir ur visa approved u will get ur passport in couple of days.

Finally i came out and colleted the passport the same day.

i was surprised by looking my passport.

They issued H1B visa and cancelled the visa with black stamp with words "CANCELLED WITHOUT PREJUDICE" on H1B stamp. And issued 221G from checked others column and written “RETURN ANY WORKING FOR RE-INTERVIEW".


Seniors please help me what needs to be done

Shall i attend the interview again with same HDFC receipt?

Under what case they have cancelled the H1B?

Why they called me for RE-INTERVIEW.

go back at the earliest working day, you dont need an appointmet carry all relevant document with u including passport and the letter you received. you will be allowed in for interview
