Multiple visas

Hi,



I have business visa and visa is Stamped, I have not traveled to US>

I recently received H1 Visa stamped through my consultant in US



My current employer in India wishes that I travel to US for two weeks on client meeting etc on business trip.



After my joining in US I would like to apply for SSN. What should I Do shall I use my H1at port o entry or B1 Visa.



Please suggest at the earliest.

If you are going to do work consistent with B1 visa, you can enter on B1 visa.
Same way, if you are going to do work consistent with H1 visa, you can enter on H1 visa.

You can apply for SSN only on H1, not on B1.
