H1B petition amendment

Hi,

My name was misspelt on my approved H1B petition. Any idea how long does the amendment process take? Also, as I am currently on an L2 visa, how can I move to the H1B once the amendment is complete?

Can someone please tell me the detailed process and the approximate timelines?

It is pretty simple, ask Employer to send a letter requesting the correction. you can work for your employer, before you get the new approval notice. It takes over 3 months.
