H1b Stamping Islamabad Pakistan ( Physician) March/12/2019
Just want to share our stamping experience as there is not much online or posts were very old when i was looking for same.
Interview date in Islamabad : march/12/2019, lady visa officer told my wife ( working as physician for year and half in usa ) she will have to put her case in admin processing and kept her passport. No time line was mentioned. Visa officer mentioned she will be sending an email with few questions such as all social accounts details, travel history, employment history. on April 18 2019 got an email from US embassy that admin processing is done and asked us to come by and pay 38 visa stamp fee. we drove from lahore to islamabad payed the visa fee on april 22 2019 and on april 23 2019 around 5pm we got another email that passport is ready to pickup. unfortunately the validity of h1b is only 12 months with multiple entry.
During interview visa officer asked regular question, where you work, what you do etc. even though we took with us all tax returns and what not and nothing was asked.
