Problem with consultant

HI

I am right now in a dilemma bcoz of consultant. i am in US on h1 since 5 months, now, i m working with a client since 4 months. everything was going on smooth for the first 2 months, but after that, my consultant didnt pay me the salary, and when i asked for it, he said that currently there is some govt audit going on, and bcoz of which i will not b able to do ur salary till the audit gets over. so in lieu of that he gave the salary in cash.

but now its almost 2 months now and he is still saying the same thing. the audit is not yet over. and i wont b able to do ur salary. i even checked with other contractors who work with him, even their salary is not done.

Can anyone guide with me as to wht shall i do, i mean i dont know whether i shud trust my consultant or not, i have started looking for other opportunities now, coz thats the only option i have got.

any info on this would be highly appreciated.

Bunch of lies.Not suprising that these fellows are acting like beggars. Report him to Dept of Labor and Better business bureau. All of you'all can report him together. Audit is all **** and bull story, that is no excuse...as an employer he should pay you in any case. By law he should pay you. I dont trust him a single bit.
