Going to Chennai after rejected at Mumbai

Hi ,I have my visa appointment on Novemver 2nd 2007 in Mumbai .I submitted my documents in Mumbai VFS last week friday.Today on Monday the VFS went to equire my current employer in nagpur and found that i am not working there as i left that comapny 15 days back as it is not a good company .Shud i go for my visa stamping on Nov 2d..can i cancel my appointment and go to different consulate is it possible ..please help it is very urgent .I am very worried .
