Can i re-enter ? Please help !!

Hello Gurus,

I was in USA from Nov 2006 to May 2007.Then i had to go to India due to some family problems.

I am on leave since May 2007 till date.So total is 6 months approx.

Now i am planning to go back to USA.My H1B stamp is valid till Sep 2009.

Can i re-enter USA ? When i re-enter what could be required or asked from me at Port of Entry ??

you can reenter no issues, as long as the employer has the job open

I have Advance Payroll documents and also EAD. I am planning to travel to India at the end of Nov. I will return to US in March. My H4 will is valid only till Jan 10. So do I need to get my H4 stamped in India? Can I return to US with only Advance Payroll? What if my GC is rejected? Can I retain my H4 status again?
