H4/I94 Expired

Hello All,

I transferred my H1 to a new company in 2006 and I didn’t file new I-94 for my wife (She is on h4) and her I -94 got expired last month. I am waiting for reply from my attorney about this situation.Do we need to stay in USA till her issue gets resolved.

Also I would like to know if this status of my wife would create any problems in future when we go for our visa stamping interviews.

Please suggest me in this regard.
