H1 B Filing

If a candidate in India starts processing his H1 visa through a US company, by the company filing it on Apr 01 when the quota opens for application.... Should the candidate get any proof that the application was really submitted until he gets the decision whether or not he will be granted the visa or not.

Once your H1b petition is submitted to USCIS with correct fees, your employer will get receipt with reference number. (usually takes 3 to 10 weeks)

But it is upto employer to give a copy to you or not.
Good employer will give you a copy , usually.
