suppose anyone is working here in L1 visa.He/She wants to change H1.as soon as H1 petition is approved ,should L1 will be cancelled,can anyone work or stay here at that moment.pls help me

REPLY:
The change of status from L1 to H1 will happen on the day that was requested on the H1 petition form. The H1 petition when gets approved will have that day as the 'start date of employment'. You will be automatically moved to the H1 status from this start date of employment.

You can continue to work for the current employer till the change of status takes effect. I am in this situation and have verified this from lot of people and resources.
