Hi,
I have a Master's degree from the US. I got a job very late (May 2007) and the H1 cap for students with degrees from the US was reached in April 2007 even before I began work. I exhausted the remainder of my OPT and am now in India. The company has a branch here and am I continuing my work in this office.
When they apply for my H1 next year, will the application still be under the MS quota or will it be under the general quota?
I'd appreciate any help or advice.
